WHAT IS NETSETGO!

NetSetGO! is a fun, safe, social and active program for girls and boys aged 5 to 10. It gives kids of all abilities a positive introduction to netball and teaches them the basic skills of the sport.
NetSetGO! is divided into three tiers; Net, Set and GO, meaning that your child will learn at a pace that's right for their age and ability.
Each week your child will take part in skill based activies, minor games, music, dance and modified matches that will help them develop fundamental movement skills, as well as important social skills like team work. Each session will be led by an accredited coach, using modified equipment.

NET is for 5 to 6 year olds
SET is for 7 to 8 year olds
GO is for 9 to 10 year olds

Blue Jays offer the GO component each season. The GO component, commonly known as "moddies" is the final step of the program. In moddies players will play in a team with their club each week. Games consist of 4 x 10 minute quarters and runs for the full 14 week netball season. There are no finals in moddies, however this part of the program will prepare the players for their transition into the juniors competition. To be eligible to join a moddies team in Winter 2018, players must be born in 2008. Players born in 2009/2010 can join only if they have already completed the SET component or played in a moddies team in Summer 2017/18.
